The Employment Department is a State Government Department under the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation, Government of Kerala. The Employment Services department primarily aims to provide an interface between employers and job seekers. Sponsors candidates with the required qualification, experience and skills for various jobs in the shortest possible time. The department strives to achieve its objective through the process of application, renewal, selection and counseling of eligible candidates against notified vacancies.

e-Employment Kerala is a mobile application for e-Employment Exchange.

The services offered by the e-Employment mobile application are

Renewal of Registration: Candidate can renew registration based on registration renewal date.

Special Renewal: If the candidate loses seniority due to failure to renew their registration within the required period, they may renew their Registration through Special Renewal (which will be triggered by Government Order).

Profile change request: Job seeker can request possible changes to personal profile (personal details, communication details).

Scholarship Transfer Request: Candidate can transfer the scholarship based on the candidate's change of address. For this service, the candidate has to enter the new address and based on the new address of the candidate's District, Taluk, Village and District, the Employment Exchange can be transferred. The request will be processed and approved through the portal workflow and will be reflected in the profile later.

Candidate Profile: Includes the Candidate's personal data and academic data provided by candidates during Employment Registration.

Seniority Status: swiftrummy.com job seeker's seniority status on published seniority lists in relation to qualifying positions.

Job Offers and Employment History: Present job offers to candidates and details of previously accepted offers.

Private Job Listing: Job listings by private companies.

Hotline Phone Numbers: Hotline numbers of 14 districts and employment directorate with tap to dial facility.

News Feed: Latest job related news will populate as news feed.

Notice: Latest notices issued by the concerned job exchange will be provided under the notice option.

Job Fair: Government of Kerala launches periodically for the unemployed people of Kerala. Employers and job seekers will be available at one place and candidates will be able to meet employers and get a chance to get their dream job. Job fair notifications will be provided through the mobile app.
